**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Snow Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The Snow Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of snow removal equipment such as snowplows, snow blowers, and salt spreaders. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with snow removal equipment efficiently.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably working with snow removal equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Certification from the Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC) a plus.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with snow equipment.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
- Order replacement parts as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.

**Additional Requirements:**

- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during snow season.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
